The 1998 season was the inaugural season for Colts Neck H.S. The coach was Jim Schlentz. We started with one runner, Jim Lewis who ran two dual meets as a guest of Manalapan H.S. He left the team just as Billy Hahn joined the team in late Sept. Due to his late start, Billy ran just a couple of races including a 16:22 on the Holmdel Park freshman course which is the freshman record.
