Highlights: The 2000 girls spring track team was coached by Head Coach Bryan Parks (hurdles) and assistant Doug Phillips (sprints) and assisted by Jim Schlentz (distances), Fox (jumps) and Vince Tesi (throws). The team highlights were the 7th place finish at the Group 1 State Championships and 3rd place at the Central Jersey Group 1 Championships. Individual highlights included Amy Kolasa (long jump) and Ashley Liberatore (3200) becoming the school's first two girls Central Jersey champions. Amy (2nd-long jump) and Ashley (3rd-3200, 6th-1600), along with Becky Mergenthaler (4th-100, 6th-200), all became the first Colts Neck girls to place in the State Group 1 Championships.
