Season Highlights: The team was coached by Rich Concato (sprints) and assisted by Bryan Parks (hurdles), Vince Tesi (throws), Jim Schlentz (distance), Robert Keyes (throws) and Kevin Hein (jumps). The team finished with a dual meet record of 6 wins 0 losses for their first undefeated record. The team highlighted their year by winning the Shore Conference A Central Division Championship. Individual highlights included Rose Lang finishing 3rd at the State Group II Championships; Liz Brady finishing 6th in the 100 and 200 and Katrine Herrick finishing 5th at the Central Jersey Group II champs; Becky Mergenthaler 4th (long jump) and Amy Lewis 5th (100 hurdles) in the Monmouth County Champs.
Post-Season Highlights: Rose Lang was named 3rd team All State Group II by the Star Ledger. Rose as well as Liz Brady, Lianne Price, Danielle Plenzo, Amy Lewis, Katrine Herrick, Becky Mergenthaler, and Stacy Perry were named honorable mention All-Freehold District.
