Season Highlights: The team was coached by Jim Schlentz and assisted by Bryan Parks. The team finished with a dual meet record of 5 wins and 0 losses in the A Central Public School division of the Shore Conference and 7 wins and 1 loss overall . Team highlights included the 3rd place finish in the Monmouth County Champs, winning the Freehold District Championships, the team title at the Cougar Inv, and the dual meet wins over Matawan (by just three points) and Freehold Boro that enabled the team to win the A Central division championship for the 3rd year in a row. Individual highlights included Craig Forys setting the State Freshman record for Holmdel Park with his 16:15, twice, Craig's 2nd place finishes in the Group III State Champs and the Monmouth County Champs, Zach Tedoff's 4th place finish at the Freehold District Champs and Jose Melendez 27th in the Monmouth County Champs. Also, Branden Krewer breaking the school freshman course record at Holmdel Park.
Post-Season Highlights: Craig Forys was named 2nd team All-State All-Groups by New Jersey Track and 3rd team by the Star Ledger. He was also named 1st team Group III All-State by the Star Ledger, 1st team All-Shore Conference by the Asbury Park Press and the Shore Coaches Association, 1st team All-Monmouth County by the Star Ledger and the Shore Coaches Association, and 1st team All-Freehold District by the News Transcript. Zach Tedoff and Jose Melendez were also named 1st team All-Freehold District with Joey Schauer and Kenny Liu making honorable mention All-Freehold District.

We had a new freshman record for 2 miles, a new varsity record, and a new team average record, and the highest place ever for our team in the counties. And, Craig Forys sets a new State freshman record of 16:15, beating the old one by 12 secs to finish 2nd, our highest ever individual finish. WOW!!. This was the 1st time we finished in the top 10 as a team in this meet. another WOW!!
