Season Highlights: The team was coached by Joe Lykes (throws, pole vault) and assisted by Jim Schlentz (distances), Bryan Parks (hurdles, high jump), Kevin Hein (sprints), Emily Bohn (jumps) and Vince Tesi (shot put). The team finished with a dual meet record of 5 wins 1 loss. The team highlighted their year by winning the Shore Conference A Central Public Division Championship. Individual highlights included Ashley Higginson's 6th place in the Meet of Champions, our first scorer in the MOC. Also, Ashley winning the 3200 at the Monmouth County and Shore Conference Champs. Katrine Herrick, Kristen O'Dowd, Amy Lewis, Danielle Plenzo and Jackie Austin placing in the Central Jersey Group III Champs and Ashley, Katrine, and Kristen winning Freehold District Champs. Team highlights: The team's 2nd straight Division championship and the 4 x 1 mile relay of Ashley, Kristen, Danielle Plenzo, and Christine Lynch finishing 7th at the National Championship.
Post-Season Highlights: Ashley Higginson was named 3rd team All State All-Groups by the Star Ledger in the 3200 meters. She was also named 2nd team All-Shore Conference by the Asbury Park Press and 1st team All-Monmouth County by the Star Ledger and Shore Coaches Association. Ashley was named 1st team All-Freehold District in the 1600 and 3200 as was as Katrine Herrick(400 hurdles) and Kristen O'Dowd (800). Danielle Plenzo, Danielle Pierre, Amy Lewis, and Nicole Decker were named honorable mention All-Freehold District.
