* B North Division meets
Season Highlights: The team was coached by Joe Lykes and assisted by Jim Schlentz. The team finished with a dual meet record of 7 wins and 0 losses overall and 6 wins and 0 losses in the B North division of the Shore Conference, which they won. This was their 4th division title in a row. Team highlights included finishing the season ranked #17 in the US and #4 in the Northeast. They were 2nd in the State Meet of Champions, and were 1st in the State Group III Championships, the Central Jersey Group III Championship, the Shore Conference Championships, and the Monmouth County Champs. Individual highlights included Briana Jackucewicz finishing 7th at the Northeast Footlocker Champs to qualify for the Footlocker Nationals in San Diego where she was 37th, her 3rd place finish at the Meet of Champions (where she set a new State Freshman record of 18:20 for Holmdel Park) and winning the State Group III Champs; Ashley Higginson's 7th place finish at the Meet of Champions, 2nd place in the State Group III championships, and her 3rd place finish at the Shore Conference Champs which was the 7th fastest time in State history at Holmdel Park; Erin Donaghy running 19:47 to finish 16th in the Shore Conference; Allison Donaghy running 19:52 in the Meet of Champions; Kristin O'Dowd, Erin, Allison Linnell and Allie Flott finishing 8th, 9th, 10th and 13th in the Central Jersey Group III Champs; and Morgan Clark winning the JV Shore Conference Champs.
Post-Season Highlights: Briana Jackucewicz was named 1st team All-Northeast and she and Ashley Higginson were named 1st team All-State, All-Groups and 1st team All-State Group III by the Star Ledger. Erin and Allison Donaghy were named 3rd team All-State Group III. Ashley was named 1st team All-State junior team and Bri was 1st team All-State freshman team with Allie Flott 3rd team freshman. Bri and Ashley were named 1st team All-Shore Conference by the Asbury Park Press and the Shore Coaches Association. Erin and Allison were named 3rd team by the Star Ledger and Kristen O'Dowd was also named 3rd team by the Shore Coaches Ass. Bri and Ashley were named 1st team All-Monmouth County by the Star Ledger with Erin, Allison, and Kristen 2nd team and Allison Linnell 3rd team. Bri, Ashley, Erin and Allison were named 1st team All-Freehold District by the News Transcript. Kristen, Allison Linnell and Allie were named honorable mention All-Freehold District. Coach Joe Lykes was named Monmouth County Coach of the Year by the Shore Coaches Association.

The girls finish 6th, but 5th in the Northeast, just 19 pts out of 3rd. (Check team scoring and rankings below.) Ashley finishes 5th with Bri 6th as they become the 2nd and 3rd fastest Shore Conference runners ever behind only Cate Guiney's 14:37.5 in 1998. (But did she run in a monsoon?) Armorytrack.com wrote this about the race:
Girls Eastern States
In what many were billing as the deepest race in the history of the meet as well as maybe the deepest race ever held in the Northeast, the Saratoga girls won for the 6th straight year, holding off a strong Hilton, NY squad, 133-147. Saratoga's Hannah Davidson and Lindsey Ferguson finished 3-4 to lead the squad. Defending Footlocker National Champion Ailinn Ryan won in 14:04, beating 2nd place by 38 seconds. Her time ranks her 3rd best ever at VCP, missing Nicole Blood's record of 13:58 set last year, though most track nuts say that this performance, based on the treacherous conditions, will go down as the best ever here at Manhattan.

The Cougar girls win their first Monmouth County title as Ashley and Bri tie for 1st. They also set a new school record for team average, just 11.0 secs away from the Shore Conference record of 19:40.4 by RBC in 1995.

lo 50s, beautiful
The Cougar girls win their first and the school's first Shore Conference title with a new Shore Conference record team average of 19:22.0. It was also the 4th fastest in State history, only 6.2 secs away from the record set by Bernards in 1982. Ashley Higginson was 3rd in 18:10, a new Freehold District record and the 7th fastest in NJ State history.
Also, Morgan Clark wins the JV race with a time of 21:05 and the freshman and JV teams finish 4th with the JV running an amazing 22:32 team average.

They average 19:23.6, just off the school best of 19:22 to finish 36 pts behind NE #3 Roxbury, who breaks the state team average record and runs 19:08.4. Briana re-breaks her state freshman record down to 18:20 with Ashley right behind in 18:26.
