2012 Cross Country
Boys Results
Season Highlights: The
team was coached by Jim Schlentz and assisted by Joe Lykes. The team
finished with a dual meet record of 4 wins and 3 losses in the A North division of
the Shore Conference. Team highlights The team finished 3rd in the Monmouth
County Champs and 6th in the Shore Conference Champs. Individual highlights Riley Leder was
13th in the
State Group III Champs and 3rd in the Central Jersey Group III Champs. He
was also 6th in the Monmouth County Champs. Colin Chehanske was 11th in the Monmouth
County Champs and 19th in the Shore Conference Champs.
Post-Season Highlights: Riley
Leder was named 2nd team All-State Group III by the Star Ledger. Riley
was named 2nd team All-Monmouth County by the Star Ledger with Colin Chehanske making 3rd team. Both were named 1st team All-Freehold District by the
News Transcript. with Mike Pinnola being named honorable mention.
