2013 Cross Country
Boys Results
Season Highlights: The
team was coached by Jim Schlentz and assisted by Joe Lykes. The team
finished with a dual meet record of 4 wins and 3 losses in the A North division of
the Shore Conference. Team highlights The team finished 5th in the Monmouth
County Champs, 7th in the Shore Conference Champs and 6th in the Central Jersey
Group IV Champs. The freshman team was 2nd in the Monmouth County Champs
and won two invitationals while setting a new team record for Holmdel Park.
Individual highlights Colin Chehanske was 13th in the Monmouth
County Champs, 17th in the Shore Conference Champs and 13th at the Central
Jersey Group IV Champs. Brad D'Antuono set a new frosh record for the
frosh course at Holmdel Park and was 2nd in the Monmouth County Frosh Champs.
Post-Season Highlights: Colin
Chehanske was named 3rd team All-Shore Conference by the Asbury Park
Press. Colin was also named 3rd team All-Monmouth County by the Star Ledger.
Colin was named 1st team All-Freehold District by the
News Transcript along with Mike Pinnola and Zach Csipkay.
